PIN TYPE INSULATORS

supplies ALL classes of pin type insulators. Low voltage pin types are manufactured and tested to the requirements of ANSI Standard C29.5, high voltage pin types to ANSI Standard C29.6, and special designs for use in areas of high contamination.

Some Pin Types are RUS accepted where a specific RUS classification exists.

Standard color is sky gray, with chocolate or white available upon request. Standard products are radio free as per applicable ANSI specs.

Low Voltage Pin Types (ANSI Class 55-1 through Class 55-6)

These insulators are single piece designs with porcelain threads through Class 56-3, a design which years of field experience has proven to be the best. Insulators lead the way in developing and introducing this design concept to the marketplace.

These insulators have been designed by to meet specific customer application needs in areas of extreme service conditions due to contamination. Fog Bowl designs offer high protected leakage areas.

While no ANSI Standards exist for these products supplies and tests each of these insulators to meet the general requirements of ANSI Standards C29.1 and C29.5 to ensure quality and a lifetime of trouble free service.

Due to the unusual service conditions that these insulators experience, typical application voltages are not given. The factory should be consulted to determine the appropriate insulator for use in a given application.

All insulators are designed with standard neck dimensions so that pre formed (wrap lock) ties may be used. 

SPOOL INSULATORS

All spool insulators are manufactured from wet process porcelain to ensure a lifetime of trouble free performance. They are designed, manufactured and tested to the requirements of ANSI Standard C29.3. These insulators are RUS accepted where appropriate RUS classifications exist.

Standard color is sky gray, with brown or white available upon request.

Guy Strain Insulators are manufactured from wet process porcelain to ensure a life time of trouble free service. These insulators are designed to be compatible with pre formed style guy grips. They are designed, manufactured and tested in conformance with ANSI Standard C29.4.

supplies a complete line of wet process porcelain line post insulators for application through 88 kV. All insulators are solid core wet process porcelain and are manufactured and tested in conformance with ANSI Standard C29.7.

All insulator hardware (clamp yokes and bases) is ferrous.

Standard color is sky gray, with chocolate available upon request. Catalog numbers do not include mounting studs or conductor clamps. These may be ordered separately.
